The Ministry of External Affairs stated, “Both sides discussed bilateral defense and security cooperation and expressed hope to further enhance defense industrial cooperation.” The statement also mentioned that the Italian aircraft carrier ITS Cavour and the training ship ITS Vespucci would visit India later this year.
