Houston, Lubbock, Pasadena, Beaumont, and Midland in Texas are classified as level 3 out of 5 on the National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center’s severity scale for severe weather, while San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, and Amarillo are classified as level 2 out of 5 on the same scale.
Large hail, power disruptions, and wind gusts of up to 80 mph are the main risks of every storm. According to the National Weather Service, some tornadoes may potentially occur.
